OUR PRIVACY POLICY

Our Privacy Policy describes the policies and procedures for the collection, use and disclosure of your information when using our services. This page is used to inform customers in compliance with Data Protection Laws under The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Act. These laws state that a company must declare how any/all data from consumers is collected and used. All data used and collected by Insights Publications will be listed below:

What data do we collect?

Our data collection is minimal and remains in place for the benefit of the customer and to improve our services. We do ask for home addresses on our donation forms (via PayPal) and keep it to a minimum of first name, last name and email address when communicating via email directly. Addresses are requested when a purchase has been made and kept on file for shipping purposes.

Do we pass on your data to third parties?

Our connections are fully secure. We operate solely with PayPal, Amazon and Stripe. These third parties come with their own strict, fully secure privacy agreements which can be read before making any type of purchase or transaction.

What do we use your data for?

Your data is used for the following:

  • To help us develop, operate, improve, deliver, maintain and protect our products and services

  • To send you communications via email, listen to feedback and respond to inquiries or share information about our products and services

  • monitor trends, analyse trends and usage

  • personalise our books and services (through the feedback attained from liaising with our customers)

    How long is my information kept on file?

    We retain your details in our email database until you ask us in writing to remove them. You can do this simply by sending us an email requesting that we ‘remove your details’. We will then securely remove your name and email address from our customer email database.

    Do you operate with any third parties on the sale of books?

    The sale and purchase of our books (when bought through Amazon are protected and abide by the policies that Amazon provides for consumer protection. Amazon has its’ own data protection policies in place when you are making a purchase. (Please read Amazon’s Privacy Notice separately when purchasing our books through Amazon.)
